Heads Up, Davidson County Homeowners: 2025 Reappraisals Are In!

 

If you own property in Davidson County, chances are you’ve already gotten your 2025 reappraisal notice  and let’s be real, the numbers might have made your eyebrows go up. Many of us are seeing big jumps in value, and while state law does require the city to lower the base tax rate after a reappraisal, that doesn’t necessarily mean your tax bill will go down especially if your property was assessed way above the county average. Here’s the silver lining: If you think your new property valuation is off, you can still file a FREE Informal Review. But don’t wait! The deadline is Friday, May 9, 2025, at 4:00 PM.

 


 

 

 

  • Head to https://www.padctn.org
  • Click on “Search” and enter your property address
  • Scroll down to the “Current Property Appraisal” section and check the Total Value
  • Click on “View Tax Record” to compare it to prior years

If your property’s value skyrocketed, or if it just doesn’t reflect the current market, it might be worth taking a closer look. You can request a review right from the website:


Hit the blue “Review/Appeal” button at the top of the page.
Be ready—it’s a 5-step form you’ll need to complete to submit.
