If you ever get the chance to score an invite to a Creole/cajun Thanksgiving dinner, do it. If you don’t happen to have any Louisiana-born friends, you can always avail yourself of the regional menu at March House in the Thompson Hotel where they’ll feature dishes like deviled crab, stuffed quail, venison poppers and gumbo on their four-course prix fixe Thanksgiving menu. They’re also offering most of the menu for carryout if you want to take a taste of the marsh home with you.

STK Steakhouse

STK Steakhouse will be open Thanksgiving weekend for dine-in and take-out. The dine-in menu is available for $59 per person and $29 for children 12 and under. 

The roasted free range turkey plate includes cornbread and sage stuffing, shallot and thyme confit thighs, sautéed green beans with crispy shallots, maple baked sweet potato, yukon gold mashed potatoes, gravy and cranberry orange chutney. Spiced pumpkin pie is also available for $12 a slice.

The signature restaurant at the Holston House boutique hotel has plans for a prototypical Thanksgiving Day feast available for dine-in or carryout. The menu features a classic roasted turkey with the expected sides of skillet cornbread and downhome greens.

Puckett’s serves downhome Southern food every day, so they’re a great choice for providing your entire supper, fully cooked and chilled for you to reheat at home. In addition to a raft of Southern side dishes, they’re offering the choice of two sizes of turkey roasted, smoked or fried. They say their large turkey serves 18-20, so if you’ve got a crowd that big to feed, look no further!

Anzie Blue

Anzie Blue will be closed on Thanksgiving Day for dine-in, but will offer Thanksgiving meals to-go that serve a family of four. Orders must be placed by Thursday, Nov. 19. Meal pick-up is Wednesday, Nov. 24 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. 

Meat offerings include smoked turkey, brown sugar ham, herbed pork loin, fried chicken and baked chicken. Side options include mashed potatoes, loaded mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes casserole, country green beans, caramel candied carrots and dinner rolls. Dip options include cranberry sauce, bacon and candied pecan cheese ball, spinach and artichoke dip and house made pimento cheese. Dessert options include pecan pie, sweet potato pie and dutch apple pie.

The 404 Kitchen

The 404 Kitchen is laying out a big buffet spread on Thanksgiving Day featuring carving stations with roasted turkey breast and confit turkey served with gravy and cranberry sauce, a spiral ham glazed with pineapple reduction, and a roast New York Strip with horseradish sauce. The buffet will also include an array of delicious sides and salads like buttermilk mashed potatoes, stuffing made with sausage, apple, and sage, green bean casserole, and a kale & apple salad. Don’t skip the dessert bar for a variety of pies and cookies.
